KPTiles all started with broken china for pique assiette work. We have had
years of experimenting with tough cutting jobs. As a result we feel we have
tried it all.
From a business perspective it was important for us to find a fast and
effective way to cut china. For both people selling cut china and artists who
use it in the art they sell, this is an important consideration. This is true for
cutting tile in general, but we have found that china is the toughest thing to
hand-cut in mainstream tile purposes. In our opinion if you can hand-cut
china well, you will have no problem with ceramic and glass.
For those who are making mosaics you can greater flexibility in the time you
spend but no one wants to waste their time. So, this is all based on our
experiences over several years.

The three things we cut the most is glass, china and ceramic. So, we will
discuss all three separately as they relate to the cutting devices. In addition ,
you can jump directly to a page for the cutting tools that will offer a basic
description of the basic tools you can readily find. There of course will be
many tools outside the parameter of our purposes, so we will stick to those
things that you can easily on the internet or locally. In addition this is based
on our experiences with these tools.
